Sponsor's Responsibilities:
As construction and project managers, Webcor Concrete Group is responsible for managing and ensuring the safety, quality and progress of the concrete construction on site. We work with the general contractor and other trades to coordinate work.
Extern's Proposed Duties:
The extern will undergo a Day 1 safety orientation and go on a jobsite tour. The extern will sit in on coordination meetings as well as help the project engineer perform quality control checklists on site. If schedule permits, the extern will observe a concrete pour. Boots, jeans, and a long sleeve shirt are required. Other PPE (personal protective equipment) will be provided on site.
