Private practice orthopedic surgery, trauma, total joint replacement, sports medicine office and operating room experience.
Sponsor's Responsibilities:
See patients in the office 2 days per week, operate on patients in the office 2 days per week. I have also significant administrative duties with the hospital, as I will be the President of Triad Orthopedic Management (consultancy firm of 30 surgeons working to optimize hospital care).
Extern's Proposed Duties:
Observe patients in the office and in OR, and possibly on-call trauma in ER and OR. Learn about the administration of healthcare, experiencing the life of a clinically practicing physician administrator.
