Sponsor's Responsibilities:
The sponsor is a member of the global bid management team. The bid management team works globally to support the sales organization in providing written formal proposals and bid responses, often reaching out and working across many functional groups in the company; as well as interfacing with client and/or partner's proposal team(s).
Extern's Proposed Duties:
The extern will observe and shadow the sponsor; interact and meet with people from various functions in the company to see first hand an example of cross functional team in action.
