Sponsor's Responsibilities:
I teach sixth grade English and social studies and middle school science in a New York City public school located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. As a teacher, I am responsible for creating and teaching engaging units and lessons.
Extern's Proposed Duties:
The extern will observe me in the classroom and at staff meetings. If the extern is comfortable s/he may assist with instruction in the classroom.
